Workday is a leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution used to manage people-centric industries, including many companies that also use Projectal.

The Projectal Integration team has developed a connector for seamless connectivity between Projectal and Workday. By utilizing the Projectal API, webhooks, and Python library, this connector syncs real-time employee and timesheet data from Workday's HR module into Projectal. This ensures that Projectal is always up-to-date with staffing changes, such as new hires, departures, holidays, pay rate adjustments, and more. With real-time employee data in Projectal, you can accurately budget, plan, schedule, and track your project and staffing needs.

Synchronizing data between Workday and Projectal

The connector is highly flexible and can be easily customized to fit your specific use of Workday. Here's some of the data that can be synced from Workday into Projectal:

Staff name and email address
Staff employment type (full time, contractor, freelance, etc.)
Staff contract details (start date, finish date, project / task allocation)
Staff employment dates (start date, termination date)
Staff job title and job level (head of department, supervisor, coordinator, etc.)
Staff pay rates and pay schedules (weekly, monthly, yearly, etc.)
Staff holidays and non-working days
Staff timesheets
Staff department (production, compositing, 2D, 3D, etc.)
Staff location
Custom report fields (matched with Projectal's custom fields)
